Starter is a solo workflow plan ($19/mo, $190/yr CAD) — one seat, 20 policy reviews + 15 side-by-side comparisons (4 policies per run) + 5 comparison briefs + 20 Policy Builder generations per month, full export formats, watchlists, and unlimited saved filters. Pro ($59/mo, $590/yr CAD) is built for teams: 4 base seats with pooled quotas (80 reviews / 60 comparisons / 60 briefs / 80 Builder generations across the whole team), 8-policy comparisons, comparison briefs in Studio Compare, and a 14-day free trial. Paid tiers roll unused monthly allowances forward one month. Public Trust Drills are free on every plan (no login required). Pick Starter if you're the one person assigned to figure this out. Pick Pro if you have a working group or want shared quota with colleagues.
›Is there a free trial?
Yes — Starter and Pro both include a 14-day free trial (monthly and annual). We collect a card at signup but don't charge it for 14 days. Cancel anytime during the trial in Settings → Billing and you won't be charged.
›Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel during the 14-day trial and you're never charged. Otherwise plans cancel at period end — you keep access through the end of the cycle you've already paid for, and the plan does not renew. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not refund the current cycle (see refund policy below).
›What's your refund policy?
Got AI Policy is a digital service: all sales are final and we do not issue refunds for partial periods, unused days, or change of mind. Exceptions: (1) where required by Canadian consumer-protection law, and (2) at our discretion for clear billing errors (e.g. duplicate charge, charged on the wrong plan). Email support@gotaipolicy.ca within 60 days of the charge to request a billing-error review.

›What does the Free tier include?
Free members get a registry account, 3 policy reviews per month, 3 AI comparisons per month (2 policies per run), 1 comparison brief per month, 3 Policy Builder generations as a lifetime allowance, the mid-year recap, saved filters, and shortlists. Public Trust Drills are free and open to everyone (no login needed). Free allowances don't roll over. Start free, no credit card required.
›Who can generate comparison briefs?
Comparison briefs — the cross-cohort synthesis of policies you've selected in Studio Compare — are available on every plan, with per-tier monthly caps: Free 1, Starter 5, Pro 60, Founding Member unlimited (within reason). Pool a cohort of up to 15 policies per brief.
›Are teams included on Pro? Do I pay per seat?
Yes — Pro includes 4 base seats (you + 3) at the same plan price, with no per-seat charge. Use the whole plan solo, or share it with your team. Starter is single-seat only — upgrade to Pro when you want to bring teammates in.
›What happens if the person who pays for the team leaves?
Day-to-day control transfers by promoting another member to Owner from Workspace → Members. Billing itself stays on the paying account until you email support@gotaipolicy.ca to move it to a different account. If the paying account cancels and no one else on the team has a paid plan, the shared pool ends — every member keeps their own personal tier and any benefits attached to it.
