Pro ($59/mo, $590/yr CAD) is built for teams: 4 base seats with pooled quotas (60 reviews/60 briefs/60 comparisons across the whole team), bigger 6-policy comparisons, and a 14-day free trial. Pick Starter if you're the one person assigned to figure this out. Pick Pro if you have a working group or want shared quota with colleagues.

Yes — Starter and Pro both include a 14-day free trial (monthly and annual). We collect a card at signup but don't charge it for 14 days. Cancel anytime during the trial in Settings → Billing and you won't be charged. Founding Member is application-gated and does not include a trial.

Yes. Cancel during the Pro 14-day trial and you're never charged. Otherwise plans cancel at period end — you keep access through the end of the cycle you've already paid for, and the plan does not renew. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not refund the current cycle (see refund policy below).

Got AI Policy is a digital service: all sales are final and we do not issue refunds for partial periods, unused days, or change of mind. Exceptions: (1) where required by Canadian consumer-protection law, and (2) at our discretion for clear billing errors (e.g. duplicate charge, charged on the wrong plan). Email support@gotaipolicy.ca within 60 days of the charge to request a billing-error review.

Every paid Pro invoice from the prior 365 days is credited toward your first Founding Member year, capped at $887 CAD. We generate a one-time Stripe coupon at checkout. (Trial periods aren't paid invoices and don't count toward the credit.)

Your annual Founding Member clock starts on the day you upgrade — it does NOT carry over the unused days of your current Pro cycle. Any unused Pro time is effectively converted into the credit calculation (prior 365 days of paid invoices, capped at $887). Your next Founding Member renewal is exactly 365 days after the upgrade date, and the $887 lifetime price lock begins from that day.

No. Founding Member is a lifetime price lock at $887/yr — once you cancel Founding Member, the price lock is gone and any future signup is at then-current pricing. There is no Founding Member → Pro downgrade path.

Yes — Pro includes 4 base seats (you + 3) and Founding Member includes 7 base seats (you + 6) at the same plan price, with no per-seat charge. Use the whole plan solo, or share it with your team. Starter is single-seat only — upgrade to Pro when you want to bring teammates in.

Quotas (policy reviews, custom cohort briefs, side-by-side comparisons) are pooled across all team members for the month. Features and tier benefits stay personal — every account keeps its own tier. Joining a team never costs anyone their existing benefits.
